# Meetings

RADIQ notices when a call starts in Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and other call apps, transcribes it, and gives you a meeting note with a summary you can share. No bot joins your call.

## Starting a meeting

- **Automatically.** When a call app is detected, RADIQ starts a meeting and shows a notification. It stops when the call ends.
- **By hand.** In **Meetings**, click **new meeting**. Use this for in-person meetings or calls RADIQ didn't detect. Click **stop meeting** (or **stop and summarize**) when you're done.

To stop a particular app from starting meetings, open **Settings → Audio & meetings** and add it under **Automatic meeting detection**. To start every meeting yourself, turn automatic detection off.

## The meeting note

Each meeting gets a note with three parts. Use **search meetings** in the list to find an old one by title, attendee or note.

- **Your notes.** Type during the call. Notes and the transcript save automatically on your Mac.
- **Transcript.** Labelled by speaker. Use **show transcript** to open it alongside your notes.
- **Summary.** Written when the meeting ends. If there isn't one, click **summarize meeting**. Click **summarize again** to redo it, for example after naming speakers.

To ask follow-up questions, use **ask about this meeting in chat**, or ask your connected AI: "What did we agree in my last meeting?"

## Speakers

RADIQ separates voices and labels them. Click a speaker label to **rename** it, or **merge** two labels that are the same person. The summary uses the names you give, and RADIQ can recognise known voices in later meetings.

To teach RADIQ your own voice, open **Settings → Audio & meetings**, enter **Your name** and click **train**, then speak for about 30 seconds.

## Calendar

Connect Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or an ICS calendar link to see **Coming up** at the top of Meetings, and to give meetings their calendar titles and attendees.

## Share and export

From the share and **more meeting actions** menus on a note you can:

-   **copy summary**, **copy transcript**, or **copy meeting + transcript**;
-   **email summary** (opens a draft in your email app);
-   **send to an app…**, such as Slack, once it's connected in **Connections**;
- export the meeting to a file.

## Fixing a meeting

- **retranscribe meeting** runs transcription again on the saved audio, for example in a different language or with a different engine.
- **merge meetings** joins a call that was split in two.
- **delete meeting** removes the note, transcript and summary.

## Meeting settings

In **Settings → Audio & meetings**:

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| Transcription engine | Cloud engines are fast and accurate. Offline engines run on your Mac and keep audio fully private, but use more CPU and memory. |
| Live meeting notes | Live captions for the meeting in progress, separate from background transcription. |
| Automatic meeting detection | Starts and stops meetings when a call app is detected, and lets you exclude apps. |
| Custom Vocabulary | Names and terms RADIQ should spell correctly. |
| Your name | How you appear in transcripts, plus voice training. |
